Dr. Samson Chan, MD, MBA

Dr. Samson Chan, MD, MBA

Dr. Samson Chan is a board-certified general surgeon and leads the department of surgery at Insight Chicago. Prior to joining Insight, Dr. Chan was the associate professor of surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine – Northwest and has been in practice as a general surgeon and vein specialist for over eight years.

While receiving his surgical training at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Chan served as the chief resident during his final year and also directed undergraduate surgical medical education. While in Michigan, he was formally trained and trained others on minimally-invasive and robotic surgical techniques. Always interested in new technologies and how they can help his patients, Dr. Chan is proud to bring his expertise in minimally invasive, robotic, colorectal, vein, and breast surgery to his hometown of Chicago
