Atif Bawahab

Atif Bawahab is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Insight Hospital & Medical Center Chicago. He is dedicated to the hospital delivering world class, compassionate, expert care to every patient who comes through our doors. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking, Atif is always looking to enhance Insight. He is a tireless advocate for all of Insight’s patients, employees, and community partners. Atif brings more than a decade of hospital management experience and he led the hospital’s acquisition in 2021. He also serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Insight Management based in Flint, Michigan and a Board Member of Insight Surgical Hospital in Warren, Michigan. In these roles, Atif identifies and develops strategic relationships with potential clients and partners while focusing on Insight’s core values and vision. Atif received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Economics from Texas A&M University.

Chief Medical Officer & Chief Medical Informatics Officer

Dr. Dillon Bannis

Dr. Dillon Bannis is the Chief Medical Officer at Insight Chicago. Dr. Bannis received his medical degree from the University of Miami, Florida, and completed his residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center Chicago. He is also a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Bannis also serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer, in which he is responsible for the design, configuration and implementation of clinical software solutions for users hospital wide. As a member of the Near South Planning Board, he is responsible for cultivating the Hospital’s relationship with the surrounding community to develop opportunities for integration and synergy.

He is also the executive director of the newly formed South Side Health Equity Collaboration.

Dr. Bannis cares deeply about his patients and is drawn to community health as a channel for empowering healthy communities. He believes in providing patient-centered care to all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic status and background. In his free time, Dr. Bannis enjoys bicycling (both mountain and road), playing piano, bass guitar, snowboarding, and motor racing.

Ali Madha

Ali is the Corporate Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Board at Insight Chicago and is a Board Member of Insight Surgical Hospital.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Since 2011, he has been a leader in all facets of Insight, from the largest projects to the smallest. He served as Insight’s Business Development Manager in 2013, and his management of the Negotiations and Appeals division for Insight’s medical billing has been the precursor to much of Insight’s recent years growth and expansion.

Kaleem Qazi

Kaleem Qazi is the Director of Business Development for Insight. Since 2020, Kaleem has led Insight’s outpatient, revenue cycle, and strategy departments. His previous experience includes progressive healthcare leadership roles at the top healthcare institutions in the state of Michigan.

Kaleem is dedicated to using his expertise in business development to promote the growth of the local economy. Kaleem has mentored entrepreneurs and has helped establish multiple businesses and jobs in Flint, ranging from retail clothing, nonprofits, and social media management. He also served as Regional Vice President for the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Scranton.
